Road sign after a storm…a sign of the times ahead?
God’s will and ways are not to be covered by circumstance, culture, current issues or coercion. “I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the father but by me” John 14:6 (Jesus)
So, this week, sit a spell, spend some time getting fed, and for heavens sake get directions.

Very well said Gary. Oh my goodness, that bacon!

Oh my goodness is right Bruce, and thanks. I’m glad life’s storms do not cover God’s road signs. We would really be lost and clueless. As clueless as professing Christians who do not spend time in the word.

Hebrews is the bacon and eggs of the New Testament – nutritious and satisfying! (Which makes Romans the broccoli – healthy, good for you, but hard to digest)

I think you are right Craig. Which denomination attracts vegetarians? oops…

Excellent illustrations Gary!! The other day I had to sit and rest a bit on Jesus words in John 16:33 – “These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation, but take courage; I have overcome the world.” So grateful for rich access to the Bible and the Lord’s sustaining words that feed the soul, settle the mind, and point me in the right direction when the world is flummoxed by the storms. (On another note, my Pennsylvania Dutch roots would add some pan fried scrapple to the bacon on that delicious looking breakfast plate)

Wow Beth, I would love to try some pan fried scrapple. Yes, Jesus give words of life beyond life.

Thanks Jim, It was good. My wilderness camping breakfast in the kitchen. scrambled eggs with peppers, a little garlic, onion and mushrooms. Bacon too of course. I had just finished a time in the word so well fed. Three of us ate it (otherwise I would have to oink as I ate that much)
