The Call

A simple sunset. Predictable. On time. I digress. But, when I stepped outside the house this evening, there was an unmistakable  Call to Worship

Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name; worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness. Psalm 29:2

    1. While we are walking with HIm, He draws attention to things seen and also draws attention to the hurts and hearts of others…I totally agree that He shows us things and gives us front row views

    1. I’m so glad Heidi…Thanks.
I have had too many possible pictures with no camera or a poor one…Seriously, this is a case for buying a good camera and a few good lens. I’m glad my new cameras value reaches further than anticipated.
That’s also a great way of putting it!

  1. Thanks Ruth. It’s actually all the same sunset with the pictures taken within a 5 minute time span from one spot on my tripod (I swung the camera around a little bit tho). The colors changed noticeably, It really was a color orchestrated dance of light…I could call it nothing less than a “Call To Worship”

  2. We used to live where we could see the sun rising over Lake Huron, and I would tell my children that it was God’s beautiful way of saying “good morning!” Some mornings He’d whisper it in soft pastels. Other, brighter mornings, He’d sing it. Every once in a while I would see a sky like this one and feel that He was picking me up and spinning me around. 😉

  3. That had to be awesome Ann. What a great way to teach your children! God has immeasurable ways of speaking to us or at least getting our attention should we have eyes to see and ears to hear and a receptive heart to respond. I often look at the sky and say “When Lord when?”
